Green Bean Casserole --- official Samples recipe!

It's that time of year again and Tony, one of The Candy Show listeners asked if I would post my famous Green Bean Casserole recipe so you may all enjoy!

This is a double recipe, so feel free to cut in half for a smaller crowd.

Green Bean Casserole

Serves 10-12

2 16-20oz bags frozen green beans thawed

2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 – 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (Candy’s special secret)

½ - ¾ cup sour cream (Candy’s special secret)

Dash of salt & pepper

½ cup shredded cheese or parm (Candy’s special secret)

2 ½ cups Fried Onions



Combine sour cream, soup, Worcestershire.  Stir in green beans, ½ cup of the fried onions and cheese.

Bake in a casserole dish @ 350 for 25 min; add remaining onions to top and bake an additional 5-10 min until brown and bubbly.
